I’m Caroline , the designer and creator behind a collection of unique handmade jewellery. My love for jewellery and crafting began early, but it truly blossomed when I enrolled in a Jewellery Making course. There, I learned traditional silversmithing techniques, and I quickly realized that I had found my true passion. Since then, my journey as a jewellery maker has flourished—and so has my ever-growing collection of tools!
I primarily work with sterling silver, but I also love incorporating copper and sometimes gold into my designs. Adding texture to metal is one of my favorite parts of the creative process. Using hammers, a rolling mill, etching, and stamping, I transform plain sheets of metal into beautifully textured pieces, each with its own character and charm.
In addition to metal, I also incorporate origami paper into some of my designs. These papers are carefully sourced from my trips to Japan, where I fell in love with their beautiful patterns and vibrant colors. This adds a unique touch to my creations as no two pieces are the same.
My jewellery is hallmarked by the London Assay Office, ensuring quality and authenticity. My hallmark includes a full traditional stamp along with my maker’s mark, a proud symbol of my craftsmanship.
You can find my jewellery not only online but also at the Gloucestershire Arts and Crafts Centre, located at 47 Westgate Street, Gloucester. It’s a wonderful space showcasing the work of talented local artisans, and we all take turns working in the shop. If you stop by, there’s a chance you’ll find me there.
